Poldark to show vicar’s toe-sucking fetish after Christopher Biggins' scene was cut

The famous toe-sucking scene involving sex-crazed vicar Reverend Whitworth (played by Christian Brassington) will be aired this week.

In the scene, he will be seen becoming deeply aroused as he sticks his mouth over a lady’s foot and proceeds to suck it.

He will be in a brother at the time with one of the women who works there as he waits for news of marriage proposal to Morwenna Chynoweth (Ellise Chappell).

The scene in the original 1970s BBC adaptation apparently cut out the kinky fetish scenes because they were deemed far too racy for audiences at the time.

While the role of the less-than-holy vicar was portrayed by national treasure Christopher Biggins, who actually filmed the scenes in question only for them to apparently end up on the cutting room floor in the edit.

The 68-year-old told the Daily Star: “When the head of the BBC saw it, he said, ‘There’s no way I can put that scene out on a Sunday night after Dad’s Army.’”

Aside from foot fetish scenes, this week’s episode of Poldark is set to be a dramatic one with Drake Carne (Harry Richardson) potentially facing the noose for a crime he probably didn’t even commit.

Meanwhile, it is nearly crunch time for Morwenna as she’s has to make up her mind about whether to accept Reverend Whitworth’s marriage proposal or face disgrace.

Morwenna is very much smitten with Drake and the pair have been seen getting increasingly close over the course of the series, but their romance could have serious consequences for all involved.

There will also be heartache for Caroline Penvenen (Gabriella Wilde) as Dwight Enys (Luke Norris) struggles to accustom himself back to life in Cornwall following his horrific experiences at war.

It looks like Dwight will be suffering from something that could be Post-traumatic stress disorder brought on from being a prisoner-of-war to the French.

Poldark airs on BBC One on Sundays at 9pm.
