The 35-year-old contestant was confirmed as the tenth and final star to be heading into the Outback after arriving at Brisbane airport in Australia last night.
But before the ITV reality series kicks off, the mother-of-three has revealed that if she’s surrounded by difficult campmates that constantly complain, it’ll cause her to snap.
“I don’t like whingey people,” she said. “I think if someone is whinging, then that will tip me over the edge.”
Rebekah, who is the wife of Leicester City football player Jamie Vardy, 30, also confessed that while the opportunity is a dream come true, she’s had nightmares about the more intimidating aspects of three weeks in a pressured environment.
She explained: “I am so excited but I’ve also been waking up in the middle of the night sweating and having nightmares about bugs crawling around my feet. This is such an amazing thing to do and I am really looking forward to it.
“I don’t really have any fears but I am dreading anything that is in a confined space and box. I am just expecting to get voted for the majority of the trials at the beginning anyway.”
The star continued to express her feelings on potential campmates, stating that she will repel any bad behaviour from fellow celebrities.
She said: “I think I am going to be a mixture of everything in the camp. I love people and I wouldn’t be the one who causes arguments but at the same time I won’t tolerate a bully. If I’ve got an opinion, I will make sure it is heard. That’s the sort of person I am.”
Rebekah went on to say that she’s determined to show viewers at home she’s not just a “WAG”, and believes when her true personality shines through it will surprise people.
“I think the public see me as a WAG so to speak and probably someone who doesn’t get stuck in,” she continued, adding that she wants to push herself to the limit. “People will see a different side to me and it will be nice to show people what I am really like. I am actually a nice person.”
Rebekah joins a host of other nervous hopefuls ready to battle it out for the title of King or Queen of the jungle, including Boris Johnson’s father Stanley Johnson, 77, Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, 33, YouTube star Jack Maynard, 22, and actor Jamie Lomas, 42.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs this Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
