EastEnders spoilers: BBC soap suffers epic blunder as it reveals character's exit early

The official account for EastEnders shared a short clip of Tina Carter (played by Luisa Bradshaw-White) leaving Albert Square.

Shirley (Linda Henry) could be seen handing over her passport and encouraging her to take some time away in Spain.

Tina then reluctantly got into a waiting taxi and left Walford for the airport.

Accompanying the video, which was shared at 8.15pm, EastEnders wrote: “Is removing Tina from Walford a good idea? TAXI!”

Fans of the long-running soap were quick to spot the gaffe and took to Twitter to point out the error.

One viewer shared: “Posted 10 minutes before it aired, because why not?! #EastEnders.”

While another added: “Why is this only just airing?!”

“How do you make the mistake of tweeting a scene 10 MINUTES before it’s even aired? #EastEnders,” a third noted.

Someone else continued: “Hmm timing & whatnot #EastEnders.”

Last night’s instalment also saw about his son Ben’s (Harry Reid) new boyfriend.

The hardman learned that Luke Browning (Adam Astill) is actually the son of James Willmott-Brown (William Boyde), leaving him fearing for Ben’s life.

continues Monday on BBC One at 8pm.
