Newly single Mel B was pictured smiling as she walked hand-in-hand with her five-year-old daughter Madison in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday.
The outing comes as estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, 41, has reportedly filed new legal documents in a bid to get equal access to his children.
According to TMZ, Belafonte claimed his former flame has brought a divide between his biological daughter Madison and step daughter Angel, 10.

The film producer – who claims he hasn’t seen both his daughter Madison and step-daughter Angel for three weeks – said the 41-year-old’s two children told him, ‘Mommy is really mad at you and that’s why she won’t let us come and see you.’ (sic)
While Angel’s biological father is 56-year-old Eddie Murphy, Belafonte claims he is the 10-year-old’s closest dad figure as she hasn’t seen the Hollywood actor since she was born.
Belafonte is filing the new legal documents under California law which gives step-parents the same visiting rights.

Mel has obtained a restraining order which prevents her estranged husband from seeing her and her three children.
She claimed he was physically violent towards her in front of her three children and forced her to engage in threesomes.

Speaking to The Sun, Geri, 44, confirmed the group will reform ‘in the near future’.
She said: ‘We’re not re-forming immediately, but in the near future.’
The mother-of-two’s confirmation was backed up by a source, who revealed that Stephen’s ‘oppressive behaviour’ towards Mel was a deciding factor in the previously-held talks of a reunion being shelved.
The source commented: ‘Stephen was always an unnerving presence. Now he’s out of the way, fun will return.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives of Mel B for comment.
In March, Emma confirmed in an exclusive interview with MailOnline that the trio haven’t ruled out making new music as a three-piece altogether.
She told MailOnline: ‘I would love to celebrate the fact that it’s been over 20 years now and for our fans to either hear some more music or see us perform again.
‘I just think they deserve that and it would be so nice to celebrate really. At the moment, of course, we are all doing different things, in different directions. It’s always been that way – with five girls doing different things.

Geri, Emma and Mel B briefly formed a trio, GEM in July 2016, after Victoria Beckham and Mel Chisholm ruled themselves out of a full band reunion.
GEM conveyed their message through an Instagram video on the 20th anniversary of the Spice Girls’ debut track Wannabe, much to the excitement of fans.
The new group revealed that they planned to perform a huge London show in July this year.

But The Sun reported in January 2017, that Victoria Beckham, 43, took legal steps to prevent the trio from performing classic Spice Girls hits under the new name.
Victoria’s representative denied the claims, telling MailOnline: ‘No legal letter was sent this is a fabrication by The Sun and this story is now being handled legally by Victoria’s lawyer.’
Geri then was reported to back out the reunion altogether, after the birth of her second child Monty in January 2017.
The Spice Girls were the most successful girl band of their generation, ranking 20th on Forbes magazines list of the 40 richest entertainers of 1998, with an income of $49 million (£29.6 million).
Their debut album, Spice, was number one in the Official Albums chart for 15 weeks in 1996. The group holds the world record for most number of weeks at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart by a girl band for now over 20 years.
