Tonight saw the BBC soap branch out of Albert Square and into the big smoke as Lauren (played by Jacqueline Jossa) visited her dad Max (Jake Wood).
After shunning boyfriend Steven Beale (Aaron Sedwell) from a Branning family dinner, Lauren went straight into Max’s office to find out if he was telling the truth about his job in the city.
However, not only did she discover that her dad was telling the truth – for now – she found herself a new admirer.
Bored of waiting on her doting dad, Lauren helped one of the female staff members struggling with the photocopy machine.
After speaking to Max, Lauren was stunned after finding the tall, dark stranger left her his number.
While battling through drinks with Steven at the Queen Vic, Lauren cheekily sneaked the man’s number in her phone.
Although, the character’s identity to viewers is currently nothing more than “the photocopier guy”, eagle-eyed fans may be familiar with actor Eddie Eyre.
The star previously appeared as Gerold Hightower in Game of Thrones for a single episode in season six, titled Oathbreaker.
Recent spoiler photos tease Lauren pushing Whitney Carter (Shona McGarty) for a night out, but will they be running into the lovelorn Branning’s new admirer?
