The 54-year-old daytime television presenter and his co-host Holly Willoughby were guest stars on the latest edition of the ITV show and took part in the weekly Make ‘Em Laugh challenge.
Facing off against Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the This Morning hosting duo attempted to make their presenting rivals crack.
They used a variety of methods to try and make the Geordie pair giggle, including showing off a very revealing painting of Phil wearing nothing apart from a strategically-placed sign to shield his modesty.
Holly, 36, was seen with a beret on and painting a portrait of Phil on an easel, while her co-host was reclining on a chair with a bowl of fruit in his lap.
“This is so wrong!” Holly told Ant and Dec, both 41, as she pretended to work on her masterpiece.
However, the gag seemed to work and they were left in stitches and earned Holly and Phil another point in the game.
Along with the painting antics, Phil also donned black stockings and suspenders as well as a red tutu for one of the rounds. He informed Ant and Dec: “Eyes up… Because I’m going to dance for you!”
“Oh Phil, you said you weren’t ever going to do this again! We have had conversations about this… You just couldn’t resist!” exclaimed former model Holly.
But Ant and Dec gave as good as they got and managed to make their competitors giggle as well, leading to a tie.
Eventually, the two teams had a live face off and were confronted by a man dressed in a fat suit wearing only a bikini and doing a saucy dance.
Ant and Dec could not longer hold back and left Holly and Phil as the victors of the competition.
Yesterday evening’s instalment was quite a dramatic one as the presenters sent co-host Scarlett Moffatt off to buy a Chinese takeaway live on air, and she appeared to storm off in disdain as she went on her errand.
Saturday Night Takeaway airs on ITV next Saturday at 7pm.
